Vintage 9-carat Gold Curb-Link Chain
A classic vintage chain crafted in hallmarked 9-carat gold, formed from closely articulated curb links with a warm, softly polished finish.
The traditional curb construction consists of interlocking links twisted so that they lie neatly against one another, producing a continuous ribbon of gold around the neckline. Although delicate in scale, this example has a pleasingly defined link pattern and enough substance to be worn either independently or with a small antique pendant, charm or locket.
Measuring 16 inches in length and weighing 4 grams, the chain sits relatively high at the neckline. It is finished with a traditional spring-ring clasp. The chain has a substantial presence and is perfect for antique pendants and lockets.
